Baking the cake

Baking in the microwave

Before we start baking the cake in the microwave, we need to cover the microwave oven tray with paper towels. In addition to preventing messes, it will also help the cake rise quickly.

  • Select the correct microwave power to bake the cake.
  • Bake them on medium power for no longer than a minute and a half or two. Then take them out of the microwave.
  • Then turn them over, but do not remove them from the mold and let them cool for three minutes. This technique keeps all the heat in the mold and the cake.
This will keep the cake from baking with the remaining heat even after it has been removed from the microwave. Another benefit of using this technique for these types of recipes is that it prevents overcooking.
  • Finally, after the cakes have rested for the aforementioned time, remove the microwave cakes from their mold.

And you’re done making a delicious chocolate dessert.

In addition to enjoying the soft and spongy texture that cake should have, we also made it easy and in no time at all.
